I wash my brushes regularly. I have sensitive skin and if i use dirty brushes I will break out. I have been looking for a daily brush cleaner but so far I have not found one that I like.
After shopping around in Target I picked up this brush cleaner for $2.99. I have a love/hate relationship with elf. Some products are awesome and others.... not so much.
To test this brush cleaner I used my elf foundation brush. I used this to put my foundation on this morning. (BEFORE)

This brush cleaner isn't bad but I will not repurchase it.
PRO: price and it does clean the brushes
CON: messy to use and the smell is horrible. Also, my bottle leaked and made a huge mess.
This product smells like alcohol terribly. So bad that I had to rewash my foundation brush because it was so strong. Because of this I will not repurchase it.

A way cheaper option is to DIY it. It doesn't take much at all. for deep cleaning I use a dove soap bar.
