Our Little Christmas Tree

After having such a busy fall Mr and I decided to go "all out" for Christmas. Buuuuttttt...... we lost enthusiasm as soon as we climbed on the roof to hang up our lights.  Does this happen to anyone else?  We are still working on our outside lights.  We are trying to switch to all LED.  As soon as we are done with the outside of our house I will post some pictures :)

I did manage to find some extra time I put up our Christmas tree.  Normally we always get a real tree.  This year we decided to put up our artificial tree that we normally put in my craft room near the front window.  We usually have 2 or 3 trees.  This year we decided on one.

After putting our tree up we realized how much Christmas means to us.  Majority of our ornaments have meaning or a memory is related.  I took some pictures of our favorite ornaments for you to enjoy also.  When we take a trip or family comes into town we try to pick up a Christmas ornament.  When you are putting your ornaments on your tree its almost like your family is there or you can relive a great memory.

We purchased this balloon ornament in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  My Mother was in town and we were touring Albuquerque.

Every year Mr and I make a few new ornaments.  This is his ornament for this year.  He created the design and used glitter.  Yes, I know I am a very lucky gal!

I love my tin candy canes.  I think I got these at Jackalope or maybe Pier1.  This was an after Christmas shopping trip.

Brett and I picked out this ornament to remember our Cloudcroft, New Mexico trip.

A Grand Canyon find.

Another Grand Canyon find.  We got these ornaments at a Cracker Barrel on our way home with my Grandparents.

My Grandmother purchased this ornament for us at a roadside market near the Grand Canyon.  I love horsehair pottery.

This ornament was given to me by a client.  She saw it at a craft show and knew I would love it. I do!!

An ornament for the our Shiba Inu, Kimber.

My hubby is Law Enforcement and he found these in a catalog.

Another Jackalope after Christmas purchase.

This ornament was given to me by a friend a couple of years ago.  When I was in Michigan I raised and trained Siberian Huskies.  This dog is one of my "grand puppies".  His name is Shiver.

2 Years ago we lost our English Pointer, Tanner to Auto-Immune disorder.  We miss him dearly.
As you can see we picked up this guy at the Grand Canyon.  Actually Mr spotted him and we had to bring him home.

Here is a sneak peak of our outdoor lights.

I am back!!!!!

After a month hiatus from blogging I AM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Sorry for just disappearing like that but life is funny sometimes.  Currently we are working on opening a store and website for our FJ Cruiser and other enthusiasts. That takes time.  Also, we adopted a bloodhound the end of October and he definitely takes time.

I also needed a break from the computer.  Having pets, a job, house and everything that comes along with it kinda stressed me out.  The holidays didn't help either!  I couldn't find the time to craft, blog, keep my home clean, take care of the animals, work and sleep.  I'll be honest I could have done without the sleep but my hubby said otherwise.

The good news....... We are back and have some great craft and home projects to show this month!!!!!!!!

Take care my blogger friends!

What has kept me so busy the last month....

1.  Day tripping in the FJ Cruiser

2.  Quick trip to the Grand Canyon with my Grandparents

3.  Trip to the Painted Desert in Arizona

4.  Some shopping with local Artisans

5.  Meet Hank, our new Bloodhound

6.  Decorating for Halloween

7.  Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

8.  RIP Luci-Fur!  She passed away in October
